At this stage, you won’t need detailed information such as the contact details of witnesses or the exact dates you received medical treatment. This information will be gathered from your solicitor at a later stage if you have a valid claim and want to proceed.

Your initial free consultation is an informal chat with a friendly legal advisor. You don’t have to worry about having everything to hand. The advisor will simply ask you some questions to get an understanding of the experience you have been through.

You will be asked to provide some basic information about the accident or negligence you have experienced. You will also be asked some questions about your injuries, such as the type of injury sustained, what medical treatment you received and if you have any ongoing symptoms.

In a nutshell, no win no fee enables you to make a claim without any upfront costs or financial risk. You will only pay your solicitor a success fee if you are awarded compensation for your injury or illness.
